Let's put the important part first: we build YourPAZ. This page is not an independent review — it's the maker's own tour, scored the same way we score everything else on this site. Read it as a well-informed pitch with the flaws left in, and check anything you doubt on the free tier: it costs nothing and takes minutes to set up.
The pitch in one paragraph. A typical solo stack looks like: Notion (€11/mo) for notes and wikis, Notion AI (€9/mo) on top, Todoist (€4/mo) for tasks, a calendar app, a spreadsheet of contacts you keep meaning to email back, and a notes app for the random "idea on the train" moments. Four tabs, three bills, and the "wait, did we decide that?" question keeps happening. YourPAZ replaces that with one subscription: tasks, notes, meetings, ideas, decisions and contacts in one place, AI included, €9/month.
What we think is genuinely good
The Decisions module
Every meaningful call — "we're not supporting iOS yet because…", "this pricing model is the one we ship with" — gets recorded: what the question was, which options were on the table, what was picked, and why. Searchable forever. We run YourPAZ itself on YourPAZ, and this is the module that stops us re-litigating our own old decisions. We built it because nothing else in our stack did this.
The multi-workspace toggle
We run our own operations in three workspaces: work, personal life admin, and a small music side gig. The toggle at the top switches everything — tasks, notes, meetings, contacts — and each workspace keeps its own settings. "Fix dishwasher" never bleeds into the product backlog; a side-gig contact never shows up in the business CRM. Work-life separation without running multiple paid accounts is a core design goal of the product, and it's fully available on the free tier, so you can judge the implementation yourself.
The AI
The AI sits in the editor, in the meeting summary, in the task draft, in the search — not bolted on in a sidebar. It runs on Mistral (EU cloud) and Ollama (local); there is no OpenAI or Anthropic in the production path. That's a deliberate choice: EU data stays in the EU, and sensitive content can stay entirely on local models. The local mode takes a few extra seconds per response; cloud Mistral handles the heavier lifts.
The honest drawbacks
The default local AI model is small
The out-of-box local default is gemma3:1b, which is fine for short tasks but lightweight for meeting summaries or long doc outlines. For those heavier lifts the cloud Mistral route is the intended path — don't be tempted to point the local route at a 7B-class model; on a normal laptop that means minutes per response.
No iOS yet
There's an Android app (offline-first, with a sync queue), but no native iOS app yet. The responsive web app works on iPhone — it's just not native. If you're a "must have a native iOS app" person, wait or use the web app.
Smaller integration list
Compared to Notion's or ClickUp's "200+ integrations" pages, YourPAZ's integration list is shorter. There's a public API, Zapier integration is in beta, and self-hosting via Docker is supported if you want full control. But if your workflow requires a 12-step Zap chain across 8+ apps, audit it before switching.
The numbers
A typical replaced stack, at the vendors' public prices: Notion €11 + Notion AI €9 + Todoist €4 = €24/month.
YourPAZ Premium: €9/month (€7.50/month billed yearly), AI included.
Difference: €15-16.50/month, one bill instead of three — plus one tab instead of four.
Who it's for
- Any solo founder doing more than one thing (side project + day job, freelance + own SaaS, etc.).
- Any freelancer who needs proper client + project context (the contacts CRM is enough for billing-context purposes).
- Any indie hacker in the EU who's been low-key uncomfortable about their data sitting in a US cloud — YourPAZ runs on Hetzner in Germany by default.
- Anyone who's tried Notion as a PM tool and gone "this is fine for notes but I need real tasks."
Who it's not for
- iPhone-only users who must have a native app.
- Indie hackers shipping pure software who already love Linear — stay on Linear.
- Anyone whose workflow lives in heavy Zapier chains across 8+ apps — audit before migrating.
